Horse Handler and Trainer
Lynnsy Peranteau’s passion for horses started at the age of 5 when she climbed into the saddle for the first time. Her horse riding journey began in the mountains and valleys of California where she explored miles of horse trails. She has competed in numerous horse shows including: Barrel racing, Gymkhana, Western pleasure, Trail, English equitation, and Showmanship. Lynnsy also has a background in therapeutic horsemanship as a former Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) certified riding instructor and mentor.
For many years Lynnsy taught riding in several different disciplines to clients with and without disabilities, and she created an internship program for those clients interested in becoming PATH certified instructors themselves. When working in California, she managed the care, exercise and training for more than 20 horses at a time, so the relaxed atmosphere and non-crowded environment of Bright Angel Ranch is a welcome change. Lynnsy is very passionate about helping her fellow equestrians meet their goals for themselves and their horses and is excited to now have the time needed to achieve optimal outcomes for all of her clients.
An avid equestrian since she was six years old, Allison is now a business partner and instructor at Hilltop Equestrians, a well-respected equestrian training facility located only minutes away from Bright Angel Ranch. She trains beginner through advanced level students in hunter, jumper, equitation and dressage disciplines. Allison qualified as a finalist in the prestigious Marshall & Sterling adult amateur division and continues to earn numerous awards, year after year.
Throughout the year, Ali can be found accompanying her students to schooling shows up to AAA level throughout the State of Florida. In her spare time, she also works as a licensed real estate agent specializing in equestrian and commercial properties. She and her fiancé, Scott, live with their two dogs, his collection of muscle cars, and her beloved horses, If the Show Fits (a/k/a “Fendi”) and Alozzi, an imported Dutch Warmblood with a passion for big jumps.
Allison’s exceptional horse conditioning and training services are available for horses residing at Bright Angel Ranch, thereby allowing horses recovering from injury or illness to return to work in their best possible physical condition.

Horse Enthusiasts and Owners
Harry and Jeffrie van Loveren
Although relatively new to the equestrian world, Dr. Harry van Loveren and his wife, Jeffrie, share a passion for providing a comfortable, safe and well-maintained facility for horses who have either reached the end of their careers or simply need some quiet time and careful conditioning to recover. By veering away from the traditional show/school barn concept, they have created a venue that offers exceptional care and maintenance for retired and recovering horses. Part-time residents of Tampa, their primary home at Bright Angel Ranch allows them to spend time riding and connecting with their own horses and to perform night-checks on all of the horses in residence.
